Gabon Mission Trip

Last year after our short term missions trip to Chehalis, WA all of the members of our team felt God really laying the need for another mission trip on our hearts. Though we had started out local we were starting to consider things outside of our state, maybe even our country. We as a team went over lots of different countries and causes and it seemed that one thing kept coming to the front. Children, how can we help other children around the world. About that same time Joyce and Henry of Gabon came to visit us here on whidbey. Then shortly after that VBS sent soccer balls to Gabon. It seemed Gabon was everywhere we looked. After much prayer and lots of researching we found Tim and Meredith, short term missions leaders in Gabon. We were soon decided, we were headed to Gabon, Africa. With a year before our trip we started fundraising, knowing that our God is a God of the amazing. We were not disappointed, He provided us all of the money for our trip expenses as well as $6,750 to help the missionaries. The funds were almost completely raised through fundraising and gifts from you, our family and friends. Langley Christian & Missionary Alliance will be sending us out July 23rd through August 8th for our short term mission, please keep us in your prayers.
